The mobile market is ever evolving – many android users started their smartphone experience with the iphone …. its ubiquitous presence has dominated smart phone use since the term became common though it was actually back in 1997 when the term ‘smartphone’ was used for the first time with Ericsson unveiling the concept phone GS88, the first device labelled as a ’smartphone’.
I am in that category only switching to android in February of 2011 – finally fed up of poor battery life being shortenned by my use of data roaming in order to listen to the radio …. Having enjoyed Nokia phones with built in radio (wow
) I was so annoyed that Apple were seemingly being contrary just for the sake of it – there didn’t see any logic in Apple asserting that if people wanted a radio they would get a radio when at the same time Apple raced to get the latest camera(s) in their phones – well usually lagging a little behind the competition.
